Dunstable reminds voters of mail ballot deadline
Dunstable reminded residents voting by mail that ballots must reach the Town Clerk's Office by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, and should be dropped at Town Hall, not a polling place.
The Town of Dunstable issued a reminder Oct. 27 to residents voting by mail about the deadline and process for returning ballots.
Anyone currently in town who is voting by mail can return a ballot to the secure drop box at the side entrance of Dunstable Town Hall, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by the Town Clerk's Office no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3. Ballots received after that time cannot be counted, even if they were postmarked on or before Election Day.
Residents planning to return a ballot on Election Day should bring it to Town Hall rather than their polling location. The town also encouraged anyone who knows someone unable to deliver a ballot in person to encourage that person to mail it as soon as possible.
Questions about vote-by-mail ballots can be directed to the Town Clerk's Office at 978-649-4514 ext. 222.
