Select Board · Meeting of October 8, 2026

DUNSTABLE — The Dunstable Select Board voted 3-0 to enter executive session over a potential PFAS water-contamination claim and separately approved a $69,950 Union Building reuse study. Town Administrator Jason Silva said a mismatched override vote with Groton could be "catastrophic," warning the town "would never have the money to be able to pay our obligation." The board also unanimously approved a firefighter memorial behind Town Hall and an updated social media policy. Preliminary estimates from Groton-Dunstable Regional School District finance staff showed a three-year override could add between $561 and $881 annually to the average tax bill depending on the scenario chosen.

No override decision was made; officials said one is needed by early November. The board also heard an unresolved complaint from resident Ron Mayer about bylaw violations at a neighboring Main Street property.
