Select Board Approves Housing Certification Request, Conservation Restriction
Dunstable Select Board seeks housing certification.
Select Board · Meeting of September 8, 2026
Dunstable Select Board seeks housing certification. The board voted unanimously to request Safe Harbor certification of the Housing Production Plan from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, which could provide protections against certain Chapter 40B comprehensive permit applications if affordable housing thresholds are met. According to Town Administrator Jason Silva, six affordable units would satisfy a 0.5 percent threshold for one-year certification while 11 units would achieve two-year status.
The board also approved a revised conservation restriction for the McLoon Property and approved installation of flat-screen displays in Town Hall meeting rooms.
