Planning Board · Meeting of April 21, 2026
Dunstable Planning Board recommended favorable action on six of eight proposed zoning amendments, advancing accessory dwelling units, retail, and cold storage while rejecting marijuana retail establishments. The Board voted unanimously (5-0) on three amendments updating the Town's Accessory Dwelling Unit bylaw to comply with state law, reducing maximum size from 1,200 to 900 square feet. All members voted to support rezoning 174 Pleasant Street for a 3,600-square-foot retail building and cold storage warehouses by Special Permit in the B-3 District; breweries passed 4-0-1 with Alan Chaney abstaining.
The marijuana proposal failed 2-3 after Board members expressed reservations despite retail marijuana being legal under state law.
