Dunstable Library trustees discussed building projects on March 18. A $230,000 HVAC replacement proposal came with existing funding of $58,000 from prior Town Meeting votes plus a $50,000 state earmark due June 30; trustees agreed to consult the Town Manager on additional resources. The weatherization project received a $55,000 grant and is in planning stages.
The board adjusted the FY2026 budget to approximately $210,629, cutting $6,537 in salary and expenses while maintaining state certification requirements. Year-to-date maintenance costs of $14,500 were mostly HVAC repairs; system replacement would reduce these significantly.
