Library Trustees · Meeting of January 7, 2026
DUNSTABLE — The Dunstable Library Trustees unanimously approved a digital equity laptop lending program to purchase eight laptops for patron use. Board Chair Amy Watson and colleagues approved policies for safe borrowing and usage with a hybrid model allowing both in-library use and home lending, and discussed lowering the minimum borrowing age from 18 to 16. The board also approved policy updates: adoption of an Art and Artifacts Receipt policy, renaming the Meeting Room to Community Room, and modifications to the Acceptable Use Policy regarding software installation.
Budget discussions revealed two fiscal 2027 scenarios: a state-compliant minimum appropriation requirement or a 15 percent reduction that could affect staffing and operating hours.
