DUNSTABLE — The Economic Development Committee discussed preliminary zoning amendments and economic development strategies. Chair Jeff Rosen and members Linda Scully and Annika Selinger reviewed comparative zoning research, recommending that motor vehicle repair, light equipment rental, and medical offices move to "by right" status in the B2 district, and that research and development and office buildings be considered "by right" uses in B3. The committee explored a distribution warehouse opportunity similar to a Tyngsborough project near Route 3.
The committee reviewed marijuana tax revenue data from comparable Massachusetts towns and proposed sharing findings with the Select Board, recommending that the town revisit cannabis sales.
