Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 9, 2026
Dunstable Conservation Commission voted unanimously to fund $7,300 for invasive species treatment at three conservation properties. The commission approved funding for Oxbow Associates to treat the Sargent Conservation Area and Salmon Brook ($2,900), Flat Rock Conservation Area ($2,900), and Hardy Street Conservation Area ($1,500). Chair Alan Chaney directed member Alan Chase to pursue additional treatment at the Dunstable Rural Land Trust's McLoon Farm, to be funded separately.
The allocation comes from timber revenue generated by the Spaulding Proctor timber harvest, which yielded $105,000.
