DUNSTABLE — Conservation Commission extends hearing on 36-unit cottage development to March 23. The Dunstable board voted unanimously to grant the extension for MCO & Associates' Notice of Intent application for 164 Pleasant Street, covering 28.5 acres of town-owned property. An abutting neighbor raised concerns about flooding and emergency access during extreme rain and beaver dam backup events.
The Commission also voted to accept a permanent conservation restriction on the McLoon Property at 389 Thorndike St and 60 Main St, held by the Dunstable Rural Land Trust; the motion passed 4-0-3 with Chair Alan Chaney and members Alan Chase and Bridgette Pontbriand abstaining due to DRLT board affiliations.
